Pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter “Regulation”), this page describes the methods of processing the personal data of users who consult the website of the B&B King of Verona.
This information does not concern other sites, pages or online services accessible via hypertext links that may be published on the site but referring to resources external to the B&B King domain.

Purpose and legal basis of the processing
The personal data indicated on this page are processed by B&B King in carrying out the management of the accommodation facility and the connected communication activities.
The personal data you provide are processed only for purposes strictly connected and necessary for the use of the site and the services requested, or for purposes functional to carrying out research, analysis and statistics, sending information material and updates on initiatives and programs of the B&B King.
Pursuant to art. 13 par. 3 of the Regulations, if the Data Controller intends to further process personal data for a purpose other than that for which they were collected, before this further processing he provides the interested party with information regarding this different purpose and any further pertinent information.
Types of data processed and purpose of the processing
Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s IT environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are canceled immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.
Data communicated by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses of the B&B King, private messages sent by users to institutional profiles/pages on social media (where this possibility is provided), as well as filling in and forwarding the forms present on this site, involve the acquisition of the sender’s contact details, necessary to reply, as well as all personal data included in the communications.

Specific technical and organizational security measures are adopted to protect information from alteration, destruction, loss, theft or improper or illegitimate use.
The treatments connected to the web services of this site are only handled by authorized technical personnel trained in the treatment, or by the Managers designated by the Data Controller pursuant to art. 28 of the Regulation. No data deriving from the web service is disclosed. The personal data provided by users who send requests for information and suggestions are used only to perform the service or provision requested and are eventually communicated to other personnel authorized to process within the B&B King or to other public or private entities in the only if this is imposed by legal obligations or strictly necessary to provide the information requested by you.
Transfer of data to third countries or international organizations
If the transfer of data outside the EU or to international organizations is envisaged, the Data Controller undertakes to clarify to the interested party:
- whether or not there is an adequacy decision by the EU Commission or whether the Commission has decided that the third country, a territory or one or more specific sectors within the third country, or the international organization in question guarantee an adequate level of protection . In this case the transfer does not require specific authorisations;
- in the absence of the above, he must refer to the appropriate or opportune guarantees and the indication of the means to obtain a copy of such data or of the place where they were made available.
Data retention period
In order to guarantee correct and transparent treatment, the data are kept for a period of time not exceeding that necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed in compliance with the provisions of the law.
Rights of the interested parties
Interested parties have the right to obtain from B&B King, in the cases envisaged, access to their personal data and the rectification, cancellation or portability of the same or the limitation of the treatment that concerns them or to oppose the treatment (articles 15 and following of the Regulation).
